Yeaterday

It was a really relaxing Sunday. Got to spend time with our friends and families. It was a nice warm day for kids to be out. Just hanging out with families in Sunday afternoon was the best thing I just needed. Feel like I am finally getting out of sleep mode and start being more active. --Kenji

気分

冬休み休暇モードからなかなか抜けれない。休み中に帯状疱疹になってしまい、その痛みのせい？かも知れないが、ダラダラ気分でいる自分がここにいる。 やらなくては成らないことは沢山あるのだが、、、どうしよう。おっと、フライドライスが焦げてしまう。

snowy sunday

Church got canceled this morning for snow. Kids and mom are outside playing. I think I will join them. My shingle pain is down with med. now. Our public school already canceled for tomorrow. Too bad for our kids, home school never stops by weather conditions except some really extreme ones.

年越しそばを食べ忘れたので、今、年明けそばを作っている。子供らにもお年玉を上げるの忘れたし、やっぱり、米国での正月はいつもの日と対して変わらない日に成ってしまったかな？この季節が一番、故郷が恋しくなってしまう。　紅白、レコード大賞、かくし芸やいろいろな番組を見ながら、コタツでみかん食ったり、又、カルタや花札したり、やっぱりこっちの環境には合わないよな～。

I guess I am going to start blog again this year. Not sure how ling and how often I will do this. Motives? I like Facebook and be able to see and communicate with friends and families right away but I guess I just need to stay away from clicking "like" for a while and write some other things for my benefit. It's been 5 years since I posted last. Kids grew so much since then. Sage's got permit, Kai is in Warsaw mid-school band, Lucas loves soccer, and Tio became such a naturalist. Heather is working as a nurse at Bothwell hotspital, and I've been staying home dad and occasionally sub for schools for last 3 years. Our life long adventure continues here with 2dogs, 3cats, 20 some chickens, 1 hermit crab, 1 fish, some snakes, lizards, bugs in a same tank. Happy New Year to whoever sees this blog and may God be with you and your families. kenji
